The Jungle Community Music Club (venue, bar & restaurant) is open 7 days per week from 5pm to 1am. Multiple shifts and jobs are available. We have some shifts that are tipped and others that pay a fixed hourly wage. What shifts and days would you like to work? Located in Union Square, Somerville. The entire club is one small room that used to be a police garage, now a live music venue with 85 capacity. We are looking to hire new staff to join our small team who will work to build a community in the concrete jungle.

The Jungle is a local independent owner operated business.
All employees have the position of either Staff or Manager, and may work a variety of shifts such as bartender or manager/sound.
Staff have the primary responsibility to support local music, make The Jungle a place that bands want to play and fans want to visit.
Managers have the primary responsibility to make The Jungle a place that employees want to work.
All employees share the following responsibilities:
Treat coworkers and customers with respect.
Contribute to a positive culture.
Perform the tasks and work required for the shift you are scheduled to work.
Communicate with your coworkers about your availability in advance, if you need to change your schedule.
Specific tasks and work include but are not limited to:
Helping customers and taking orders
Handling money and POS transactions
Cooking and cleaning
Work that is typical of employees in a crowded and fast paced restaurant
