River Sang Wild
Combining melodies of lush lyricism and distorted pop, River Sang Wild is an American indie rock band emerging from the heart of New England. Members Harrison Foti (drums), Brad Hartwick (bass), and Danny McCarthy (vocals/guitar) hit the start button back in summer of 2020, despite the less-than-enticing circumstances of the globe. Another addition of history's "roaring 20s" is imminent. RSW seeks out this unmapped territory of 21st-century rock 'n' roll, emoting the sound of the times through themes of nostalgia, self-reflection, and rocky romance. They embark on their journey influenced by artists such as The Black Keys, Stone Temple Pilots, and Arctic Monkeys. Is that all? Hell no. The sonic concoction of their multi-genre palette and Bostonian grit make them illusive to the nature of prediction.
Birds Already
Birds Already is four-piece band based out of Boston, Massachusetts with indie and rock influences such as Tame Impala, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Fleetwood Mac; as well as r&b and jazz inspiration from Emily King, Tom Misch, Lettuce, and Snarky Puppy. Birds Already strives to create simple, yet compelling pieces of music which leave listeners wanting more.
Comprised of Merin English [vocals], Jake Wilson [guitar], Nate Fuller [bass], and Josh Hamblin [drums], the members of Birds Already hail from Plymouth, Massachusetts, home to the Mayflower and other disappointing tourist attractions. As there was not much to do in Plymouth during their teenage years, each of the Birds resorted to musical endeavors, through which they met one another. Then, after many years playing for fun, the Birds finally formed on a warm summer day in 2018 when Merin sang a melodic idea over an original groove.
