Naledi Masilo is a zesty vocalist, composer, teaching artist and founder of the Dreaming Girls Foundation, a South African based non-profit. Growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa, Naledi cultivated her love for music through backyard jam sessions and endless artistic curiosity. Rooted in her exploration of the jazz tradition and the influences of her African heritage, Naledi seeks to grow herself and her music to reflect the world that she sees and exists in. She believes that music has been gifted to the world as a tool to move lives and urge hearts to take action.

She has been selected as part of the prestigious South African Standard Bank National Youth Band and has also been invited to participate in the Banff International Jazz and Creative Music workshop in Calgary, Canada. Naledi has many accolades to her name including placing in the top three for the Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition, Dolo Coker Jazz Competition and Glenn Miller Scholarship Competition.
